These materials are called DRYWALL because they can be applied without mortar.
They are primarily to build retaining walls to hold back soil in multi-level gardens and hillsides. There are many walls of these
stones that are over a century old and only look better than when installed..
The beauty of the drywalls is that anyone can build them with a small amount of direction and they will last a lifetime.
QUARRY DRYWALL
This material is unprocessed materials that come
from the quarries, It has natural faces and are
random shaped blocks that will vary in thickness.
Generally they will be heavier and thicker than
other drywalls.
SIZE: 1 sqft to 5 sqft
THICKNESS: Normal range 3” to 8”
(9” plus on special request)
8” DRYWALL
This material is is cut to 8” width with one end
squared and vary in length and thickness. Used
For free standing walls, edging, risers for stairs,
steps , wall cap and patios to get planking effect.
SIZE: 10” to 36” lengths
THICKNESS: Normal range 1 1/4” to 8”
(9” plus on special request)
